這首歌樂來自Pet shop boys[基音]專輯中的單曲「完整的」。在這張專輯中，有許多對布希與布萊爾的嘲諷與反對。「完整的」這首歌則直接主張我們應該以行動為自己爭取更多的自由，因為國家正以各種理由加強對大眾的控制。甚至以「保護公民」為理由而侵犯公民。

Pet Shop Boys反對布萊爾推動的生物識別身份證法案，他們表示這非但不能打擊恐怖主義，還侵犯了公民的人體。恐怖份子如果真的會因為身份證件而被逮捕，就不應該發生那麼多起爆炸事件。
生物識別身份證包含了眼球、指紋等特徵描述。但生物識別鑑定機器是能破解的（請參考謠言終結者--破解指紋密碼鎖），儘管如此，該法案仍舊被通過。美國公民自由協會副主任Barry Steinhardt說：「人們的直覺是，單憑科技就能一勞永逸。但這種直覺是錯誤的。」

對於身份證法案被通過，Pet Shop boys則在歌詞中唱出政府對人民的宣言: I'm afraid it's too late,  We're concerned  you're a threat.  You're not integral to the project.

完整的新人類

自從捷克著名的小說家Karel Capek於1921年創造了"羅素姆萬能機器人"的故事開始，人類便對機器人產生了期待，並陷入了競爭開發機器人的進程中。
今天，全球有超過百萬台的各式家務型機器人，還不包含上百萬的工業用機器人。 機器人已經正式深入到生活中，大部分的人們並沒有注意到一項事實：機器人軍團已經成為本世紀軍事工業的主要成就之一。

曾經，『未來人類必須和機器人大戰的故事』被人稱為是"陰謀論"，「科學家將製造"更完整"的新人類」也被認為是陰謀論者的黑暗想像，陰謀論者對局勢的描繪總是太過黑暗，總是帶著對任何政府的不信任和質疑.... 。但有趣的是，人們並未理解到，他們其實非常享受並且歡迎著陰謀論。如果電影腳本有所謂的"出自名門"，則陰謀論就是那個"名門"。陰謀論成就了好萊塢無數的電影、暢銷書。原因很簡單：相對於劃地自限的人們，陰謀論者的世界觀遠遠超出他們所能想像的極限之外。

一個問題，不在於它是什麼主義、哪種理論、哪個門派，不在於它該如何被歸類，而在於屬於它的事實，你覺察了多少？ 本世紀初，機器人兵團已經降臨，在可預見的未來即將在全球各國產生出更多、更強大的機器人軍種。
